Dirty Paris...

Hey, I was in Paris last week to do some research for Individuals and it was quite fun. Not as much as I hoped for but it was nice to be away from all the stress for a moment...

I didn't take a lot of pictures since we were rushing trough the city all the time.

But I had some time left to buy a fur coat, which I fell in love with the moment I saw it.

A little death around the eyes...

Dit is echt een veel mijn favoriete fotografen, dit zijn nog vrij nette foto's maar in zijn boek is het wel anders...

Ik vind het mooi hoe hij de mensen, veelal beroemdheden, portreteerd.

My work...

Ik heb deze outfit gemaakt voor een opdracht van school, het is geinspireerd op oud-hollandse handwerktechnieken. De jas is van biologisch katoen en met de hand geverfd. Op de jas is een breisel vastgemaakt dat ik heb ontworpen op de breimachine. De broek is van een dunne biologische katoen.De hanger is van geknoopt nep-leer.De foto's heb ik zelf gemaakt met behulp van een vriend en het model natuurlijk.

This was a school assingment, we had to use organic cotton and dye it organic also. The jacket is made of cotton with a selfmade knit punched onto it. The necklace/top is made of strings of faux leather.

I made the photos myself.

Ik besloten verder te gaan in het nederlands, aangezien 90% van de lezers nederlandstalig is... Wel zal ik de engelse versie van de tekst eronder blijven zetten voor de engelstalige lezers.

De foto's zijn van Amber Gray Photography, ik ken haar werk uit meerdere tijdschriften en ik vind dat zij prachtige foto's maakt. Ik hou erg van de dromerige sfeer in de foto's, misschien omdat ik zelf ook een grote dromer ben...?

My favorite magazines

My favorites of this time are the German 'Material Girl' and the UK based 'Lula'

Lula can be bought at any good bookstore but Material Girl is just for German or online subscribers... Lula is not even a bad investment either, since they sell for up to 80$ at Ebay. They are allways sold out after a month, since it is a bi-annual magazine.

Lula is my absolute #1, it has this dreamy vibe in the photoshoots I just love.
